HOWEVER ...

The current version of feedMytweeter PRO is using Twitter's Basic Authentication. That means that you can access any Twitter account, as long as you know the account name and password. By using Basic Authentication, any application (like FeedMyTweeter PRO) can tweet to it's heart's content, and Twitter is none the wiser. Twitter is unable to bar the application or to prevent it from tweeting.

But Twitter have learned from their mistakes. As of September 1, 2010, all Twitter applications will need to use a special authentication method called oAuth. This will require every Twitter application to be officially registered with Twitter. As Twitter now know about every single application, Twitter will be able to switch off specific applications that do not respect Twitter's Terms Of Service (TOS).

FeedMyTweeter PRO allows you to respect Twitter's TOS. However, it also allows you to disregard the TOS, and infringe Twitter's rules if you so wish.

We do not wish to deny users of FeedMyTweeter PRO the option to do as they please. This would limit FeedMyTweeter's capabilities to such extent that you, the user, may not find tolerable. So we won't be implementing oAuth in FeedMytweeter PRO.

So, it may well be that, come September 1st, 2010, this current version of FeedMytweeter PRO may be denied access by Twitter.
